Mike refuses donations from Township vendors and voted to expand the Ethics Policy to include employees so that residents can feel trust and confidence in Township operations.
Pay Raises & Oversight
Mike votes NO on pay raises for elected officials and NO on contracts not competitively bid, ending old, unfair “handshake” agreements.
Union Support
Mike is a proud union member himself and has integrated union labor considerations into bid processes which ensures fair and safe labor practices as well as financial accountability.
Recreation
With a small child of his own, Mike knows that access and availability to safe and fun outdoor activities is essential for the community. Mike led improvements at Prince Drewry Park, including construction of a walking path and the attraction of an additional $500,000 in donated material for this important community asset.
Water Conservation
Mike led an effort to update the water billing process to better incorporate usage which led to lower bills for many and provides ongoing water conservation incentives to all.
Economic Development
Mike stood up to the unchecked development of storage facilities and provided a strong voice to ensure that future development strategy is proactive and includes all areas of the Township.
